    OPTIFUEL great value

    Guys,

OPTIFUEL ships in five litre bottles not US gallons (3.78lts) or UK gallons (4.5lts) so you get loads more for your money. In one shipping box there is 5.4 US bottles not four!

The OPTIFUEL is using the very latest Klotz oil which will give slightly cooler running, lower idle and slightly higher head speed with reduced exhaust residues. Overall you will get more power for your £ and you will employ UK people, got to be worth it!

Made in the UK and available! The fastest growing brand by far!

magnum assuming my lhs gets it (they do) =£5.55 (bulk discount avail £5 per litre)

rapicon has "free" delivery =£5.25 (bulk discount maybe option)

bekra from LHS =£6.31 (£4.73 if bought in bulk)

      wildcat LV =£5.50

just for peoples info. a uk gallon is 4.55 litres and a usa gallon contains 3.78 uk litres.

      optifuel is 5 litres.
      magnum is 3.78 litres.
      rapicon is 4 litres
      bekra is 4.55 litres.
      wildcat is 3.78 litres.

      cheers
do you think the price will ever come down to compete with the others? i'm in if it's close.

      cheers

p.s for peoples info the new magnum blend should be about £4 per litre if we use usa prices as a basis and judge their 30% price with ours.

Maybe its the reluctance of the Uk importer to try the magnum "buzz juice" that has made supplies so inconsistent. They don't talk od any shortages of the new buzz juice in the USA.
Maybe they worry of engine warranties etc.
My engines did loads of gallons, so I'm willing to try the cheaper mix!

Meanwhile I struggle to decide if I buy a box of 20% or 30% rapicon for the time being. Loads of posts saying the 30% is as good as the 30% magnum, but not many folks out there seem to be trying the 20% vs the 20% magnum I am running.
20% magnum is fine for me, I'm not particularly craving more power (and trying to resist the temptation, thinking its good for my collective management).

I assume theyhaveplugs in the shipment as well...
Hmm, I've got 2 gallons left. I'm keen to try he buzz juice but I want to just fly on the rare good days through the winter, and I don't want to be fiddleing with engines in the dark night flying. I'll probably go for a box of rapicon and then try the buzz juide in the spring.

they didn't know about the plugs in terms of are they in the boxes or are they seperate. from what i have read the change over is mimimal fuss and it'll be no different from changing brands like you are doing....time will tell.

i'm 100% getting the new stuff as i assume it will be a good it cheaper and everyone says it has atleast the power of 30% with maybe an edge.

                cheers

I read that you at least have to change plug. folks have been pulling coils out of the normal plugs or something. Mangum are supplying special plugs. with a std plug there are startingand tick over problems.
The motor may also need alternative head shims before it runs well.
however for cheaper fuel all these things are worth doing. Lets just hope it is actually sold here cheaper like it is in the USA and it is not priced up to be the latest hot thing.
