Yeah, not bad. Another half a litre in bottle of ProPower though but I'm not sure of the current price as I still have stock

Okay so the Yanks put up the price of Magnum and so the shops here are selling it at £18.00 a bottle for 20% nitro. That makes this a bit more expensive I think at £19.00. What is it about UK manufacturers? Pre the price increase Magnum was £16.50 a bottle even after shipping it thousands of miles!

On the buyfuel page it has 23% oil for all flavours but on the why rapicon page it states the 15% and 20% nitro content has 21% oil?

Still proof reading: On the buy fuel page you have the nitro content as 15% in the text under the heading of 20% nitro fule.

                  hi,
i ordered a case of rapicon 30% on sunday evening it arrived tuesday and have run 3 tanks through rappy 90 today,my previous fuel was model technics super glow 25%, put os back to standard settings for the first tank full.i have now got the main needle set to a couple of clicks past four stroking or tail kicking out in a prolonged vertical climb 11 deg pitch this is in normal mode and there is a noticable increase in head speed(friend even asked me if i had switched to idle up) compared to the model technics fuel.now i may lean a bit further but i am no 3d expert and it has enough power as it is the motor is also cooler than with model technics and cleaner.left the field with a big grin, so far it looks like it does what they say for me anyway this is the first time i have changed to a different fuel used model technics since i started flying in 1982 so the change wasnt taken lightly.so if i get through this case of fuel with no prob i will be using this from now on.

Fuel from USA in US gallons (magnum)
Fuel from Korea in 4 litre containers (rapicon)
Fuel from UK in UK gallons (optifuel)

Work the price/volume out and they are all very vey cose to the same price to us.
Works well this international competition doesn't it!

EDIT - I was talking rubbish!

                      Optimix 20% 1 box delivered currently £5.18/litre
Magnum 20% (special hens tooth edition) 1 pre-order and hope delivered box £6.07 litre
                      Wildcat helimix 20% 1 box delivered £5.11/litre
                      Rapicon 20% 1 box delivered £4.75/litre
                      Rapicon 30% 1 box delivered £5.25/litre

Until they can actually deliver fuel reliably, or switch to the lower cost buzz juice when it is proven, I think I may have had my last box of magnum!

Just for info, the optifuel is sold in 5 litre quantities, not gallons (4.54litres).

Burned about 5 cases of this fuel now and it performs really well, had to run leaner than Magnum, and if i'm honest i feel the Magnum gives the engine more torque. I finished my last 4 litres of Rapicon yesterday, and went back to Magnum so it was a direct comparison on the same day/weather.

However the Magnum is in short supply, and Rapicon isn't so i'll live with the slight decrease in torque.

i did consider opti fuel but a bit skint this month and went for rapicon at £84. delivered, opti fuel works out at £131.18 delivered they might have 5l in them but it works out an expensive extra 4l.
