os 50/55 pipes...are they the same

so, just bought as os 55 with a power boost pipe to pep up the 600n a touch ...(the one saying power boost pipe on it in white writing)

the 600 came with an os 50 and pipe fitted (pipe without writing). It looks identical, and is the same size.... the only difference being no writing on the side.

does anyone know if the the unwritten pipe is still a genuine os pipe and are pipes interchangeable between the 50 and 55 ? are they actually identical ?

The os Power boost pipes are made by Funtech, could well be the same pipe.

It may be just the photo but the powerboost pipe looks a little longer, which is generally what you do with pipe design as the motor size increases to account for the lower RPM.

I had a pipe that looked the same I thought it was a OS pipe got it off here... holed it in a crash turned out it was a copy of some and not a OS at all...

By the look of it, your pipe is the same with this one!

If it is the same, acording to the description then will fit the 55 too!

I will pop the power boost pipe on the 50 and see if it makes any noticable difference

You may need to re tune the 50 though ,

yep, cool with that. relatively easy on the 50 hence trying both pipes on the 50... the fun starts when i try the 55 for the first time and start playing with two needles..... as well you know gav!

the 55 also works well with the gp exhausts
