YS 91sr Main needle Help

Can someone tell me, whether the main needle has a step in it. Where the taper fits in towards the hole mine has a small shoulder/step in it.

It doesn't look right but this is my first 90 and YS so I don't know it yet. The outrage pipe that was on it destroyed the baffles and it looks like something has been pushed back into the engine, totalled the liner, ring and piston. Took it apart and whilst in bits I may aswell rebuild/service it, the needle just don't look right.

Whilst I'm posting anyone got any new parts lying about that they're wanting to get rid of.

Cheers Tony, that confirms it. It must have been wound in to the seat too far and it's knacked it. Thanks for that mate.
