os 55 carb issue

hi peeps i have an os 55 and its not running the best and ****ing fuel out the carb im 99.9% sure its comming out the mid needle

Sooo i changed the o ring and still sloppy as ferry easy to turn (just blow on it) pulled the main needle out its got 2 o rings

sorry about this but my question is does the mid needle have 2 o rings cos a put the second 1 on and it feels good. But u got the manuel off interweb and is says 2 in packet but picture sows 2 on main 1 on mid

is this correct whats ya thoughts should i just buy a whole needle asembly to be sure

I assume you are looking at part no 12-1? If so you are right the picture shows one o-ring and the part listing states two. How many were on there when you first removed it? Is it new? I would probably call the distributor to have them clarify.

hi mate thanks for reply it defo takes just the 1 as i been out all day ragging it ant screwing it all the way in was just a little too rich and removesd it. feels loose but is not leaking fuel no more, and yes its a second hand engine i brought of this forum. was listed recent ring and bearing never missed a beat ring is shot bearings most worn i ever seeen leaky seals on neadles, banjo on hs needle leeking (gonna sort that now) oh yes and charb gasket well there wasnt 1 lol and engine was full of metal bits. rant over lol on a pluss really enjoyed to days flyin
