looking to update 1 of my trex 600n and was wondering if anyone has trie dthe t\tiger 56 heli engine.
i have the os 50 in there but its loosing power now. i could replace the piston and piston ring but i thought about a more powerfull engine for a good price.

    thanks

tbh, you would not notice the difference. the only engine i have noticed in power from an os50 is a novarossi 57. if i was you i would look out for a second hand novarossi or replace the liner, piston, front and rear bearings and ring on your os engine. then start the breakin process again.

Not notice the difference between the 50 and TT56 or for that matter the OS55, surely you jest. It's like night and day, more torque more consistent through the rev range no rough spots because they can be tuned out. Mine based on the 55 in fairness though never had the 56

i have to agree on this
the 55 is a power house compared to the 50 hyper
smooth with bags of torque, you realy need to be abusing the pitch if you bog the motor down

and i've not even seen a tt56 let alone tried one
