I'm a sucker for Hatori's there is a 105 Hatori pipe which is most likely going to replace the .90 one tbh.

    Hatori Helicopter 3d Muffler OS 105 HA2105

Much prefer the looks of Hatori's to any other mufflers just a shame they cost shed loads...
    Cheers

Hi Stuart - are you saying the OS105 seems to deliver more power on 15% than 20% fuel? Thanks, Scott

It was designed to run on 15% and versus my old .90 which I ran on 20% its definately running better and by the weekend it will have a bigger pipe and on the gov and an Enya 5 plug so I'm hoping that the final jigsaw will be the icing on the cake.

When it ran on 20% it was powerful but it was running in and on the rich side and the last weekend I flew it had its first batch of 15% and went through 1/2 a gallon I can't say I've noticed any less of a flight time with the .105 but to be honest the .90 was flying in the Velocity and I had a tendency to easily bump it - Lee will testify there was many a weekend I would only get 1/3 of a tank through and my heli would be grounded. The most bizzar being a bolt from the boom brace went through my blades leading edge.

Even the first flight with the 105 in the Velocity the grubs in the tail drive came out and I lost tail control.

While the G4 has been a dream to fly from the get go and the 105 has delivered thus far even on 15% and I'm looking forward to some more fun at the weekend.
            Cheers

Thanks Stuart, you happen to have the same set-up that I am saving for, just need to make the final decision between fitting a 105 or the 120 in the G4.

The G4 is the model for these bigger engines with a ratio of 7.92 large fuel tank and a big helical main gear it also uses them on the tail gears, its very smooth and quiet, V Bars playing up on mine, trying to get it fixed now.......

I'm begining to wish I'd kept my trex 700 & gone for one of these engines.
                  Or maybe a TT G4

I've yet to see a velocity nitro be it a 50 or a 90 without vibration issues Stuart, tho so far (touches wood) my fusion 50 has never had any issues.

Put the Thunder Tiger Redline High flow 100 3D pipe on the OS105 today with 15% Rapicon - Enya 5 plug and it was singing - seem to have a faulty governor sensor so that's got to be replaced but the muffler works very well with the engine.

Still slightly rich but was having no problems with it at all.

I put 4 tanks through mine last weekend, it runs a dream, super smooth, it's crazy rich but still making awesome power, Currently using the Hatori pipe, OS 8 plug and Opti 30SLV.

Really pleased with it so far and looking forward to getting some more fuel through tomorrow and start leaning it

                            It also sounds cool

Got a small vid but the light was constantly on the screen and it was a nightmare to see where it was - I need to start bringing my proper camcorder and borrow the wifes 550D - if I can sneak it out...lol

                              I'll get the vid uploaded.
