well after much should i shouldnt i and much research into an engine that does not get much exposure on here im please to say that i run my first tank through it today , it started first time after a few seconds following the starting procedure in the rossi book, not as noisy as i thought it would be and the sound it produces is very diffrent to the os more raspy but good all the same!
power wise felt stronger than the os50 hyper eventhough i was only running 1600 head speed which im gonna do for the first 40 mins of its life (as per the book) so more run time sunday weather permiting cant wait to get this badboy run in to unlock its full power should be really good

Well 4 more tanks today and can't fault it so far was obviously running richer than you would normally run any engine head temp got to a max of 49 degs on my final tank but although I was only running 1600 HS on 3 runs and the last was 1800 HS and it performed flawlessly no bogging on rainbows or tick tocks can't wait to start leaning it out! I'm also going to remove a head shim as I'm running 0.5 mm ,to run it in, I should be @ 0.4 for 30% fuel !

Keep looking at these when they pop up on BMFA, if it wasnt for the bearing costs I would have most likely bought one by now.

They don't eat bearings like an OS Paul also the bearings run on an offset so wear less too :0)
