OS50 Webbing - Anyone local ?

I've decided to have a go at removing the webbing on the OS50 but don't have the tools to do it properly.

Is there anyone local that can help me out ?

Im not local to you, But would be happy to do it for you, Will Probably remove the webbing from mine soon. I got the engine second hand and haven't looked at bearing, will be replacing the bearing soon and may do it then depending on what i find. Why are you removing yours?. My main reason is because i cant see the bearing!!

Mark, I've got a spare that's surplus to requirements, try it on that rather than f### yours up. I can do it for you if you want

Thanks Adie, I've got an offer close to home, I have a spare already so I'm going to try and do it myself, it's not something I'm very good at so this is a learning curve as well. I think I have a good mentor though so it should be a good result.

All you need is a dremel with a grinding disk, then smooth off the rough edges with a small file and fine sand paper.

why not go the whole hog and copy the style of the novarossi crank - I did it on my OS91 SZ and I'm very pleased with the results.

Yes, when I did it there was a noticable reduction in the sloshing of fuel in the tank on my evo 50.
