No you can mod the bottom bracket with a drimmel or a file, it's a 5 minuet job then it fits without the extension,

Would have thought that it would then be a bit close to the fuel tank??????

Not at all, there is about 6mm distance from the tank.

All you do is dremel a long groove along the exhaust side of the bottom plate. best thing to do is take of bottom plate and fit the exhaust, then line up the bottom plate and file or dremel until you have a gap between plate and exhaust. As was said takes about ten minutes.

                        Does not compute!

                        This thread has be baffled.

I have the T600N with an OS50 engine in it, with the CY MP5 muffler.

I have no extension/manifold, I've never had to dremmel anything & probably have a 6mm distance between the pipe & fuel tank.

This is why I don't understand this thread. Unless your all refering to the OS55?
