what is the ideal temp to run the align 91 and 55 engine

Don't go by temperature go by sound if you can. I am no good but anjki can tell whether an engine is lean on the top or bottom just by listening to how it sounds under load and when it unloads.
I think you will find that as we head into cold weather it is even more critical to listen to the engine. It will need richening as the air becomes more dense but it will be more difficult to check temps. -
however if you dont have engine tuning ears i run mine at around 100 degrees + or - 10 i also use a carb smart set at 100 degs but you need to tune the engine correctly b4 setting the carbsmart up
