Rapidgaz has one on his 91SRS and he was extremely happy with it power wise.. Don't know how many flights he's put it through, but I think since it's half the price of the SB19, it might be worth a try.. How it withstands crashes is another matter though.. Maybe someone will comment about it..

ChrisP has one on his SR and the baffles came loose this weekend after 9 months use. Sound nice though. I'd rather spend a bit more on a Hatori personally.

the problem is the Outrage pipes are changing every few months, so one users experience and how that relates to the current pipe are somewhat hard to correlate. Maybe when it settles down and they stop changing them constantly we may get some useful data.

My original outrage OS91 pipe is still going after over a year...... but it's nothing like the latest OS outrage pipe.

I had one earlier this year which snapped at the manifold during flight.

Mine (YS) cracked on the flange, it was poorly designed and had been machined with a sharp corner, asking for a fatigue crack. Lasted about a dozen flights.

I quite liked the outrage pipes, gave great power and i know there was the odd quality issue but i hope thats a thing of the past, i have used a 55 one for 8 months with no issues what so ever, though i did have an older 90 one that the baffle came loose.
The good thing is they offer a 50% crash warrenty, so if damaged in a crash they will replace at half price

Thanks for the responses guys. It seems the newer pipes have a stronger weld on the baffles. I've ordered one so we shall see. I'll report back on how it performs as I can directly compare it back to back with an SB19.

At £100 less than the Hatori it has to be worth a go.

                  Cheers

                      Doh!

Just bought one - fitted a couple of days ago and waiting first flights this weekend.

                      Hope it don't fall apart!

The latest new ones are supposed to be a large improvement on the early additions Steve.

Gonna be trying one myself at £59 instead of paying £160 for an SB19.

Good luck with this one Pedro as I think that's what it comes down to, my one in the picture was supposed to be the new stronger version and it did that after 5 flights. I thank my lucky stars that I wasn't inverted when it fell off. Admittedly the engine was on the rich side as it was brand new but still......

3 flights yesterday, and half way through the first flight today.......

Complete and utter pile of sh1te in my opinion. Just fell apart while in the hover.

Whoever it was that said theirs lasted 5 flights, well it was 3.5 for me.
