New YS56 missing bits!

Courier arrived today with my new YS56 and muffler form Fast Lads.
Unless I've gone insane the hover needle is missing..just a hole where I'd expect a needle with a screwdriver slot.
OK so such things can happen when they slip through QC. But the little packet of bits..crank pressure tube and check valve and throttle lever had the click spring in it.. and I'm guessing that would normally be pre-fitted to the hover needle?

Anyone that got a new YS56 able to confirm how their's arrived? Because if the click spring was put into that packet it suggests someone borrowed bits and put it back on the shelf and forgot to sort it?

I'll ring Fast lads am but I won't be flying it this w/e... not helped by frying my .91 tonight <sigh>

The YS 56 only has one needle so to speak does it not? The High is the slotted screwdriver needle. The idle is also the same and in the same place as the YS 91 SR. I could be wrong though ??

The high is a screw slot, the idle the same, just the hover needle is knurled type.

check the box. I think it sticks in the foam.

It's the knurled screw bits that are missing ..and I've had the box apart. The manual states it's factory set so should have been installed rather than loose?

As I wrote.. the click spring was in the packet and I'd have expected that installed with the knurled needle.

Has anyone had one come separate?

As GravityKIlls says, mine came separate from the engine in a small bag stuck in the foam. So it looks as though yours was either not put in the box originally or someone has taken it out pre-sale.

Sorry, didn't understand that that was the standard way it's packaged..so mine just missing.

I'll give FL a call. If it comes separate anyway then saves sending the whole thing back...

I've just tried the knurled knob from an OS50 carb..it fits and same screw thread..anyone able to confrim if the needle shape/length is compatible and I can just save messing about and use it?

Fast Lad weren't sure about using the OS needle.. so sending me YS one for tomorrow... amazing how you can spend another £300 while on the phone for a free part
