Piston Ring - £16.00??

Buggered my piston ring and was shocked at the cost! Warning for all be careful with these not to break them!

Just got to be careful not to break my new one putting it on the piston!

Don’t worry too much. I have replaced loads and haven’t come close to snapping one when putting it over the piston; I will probably break the next one I put on after saying that

If you can find someone who stocks the align spares rather then the OS they are cheaper and the same thing.
I have not found anyone who has both rear bearing and ring in stock at the same time so I've ended up paying the shipping on both
It is dead easy to break the ring putting the thing back together after changing the bearings. I've done that. Then it costs not just the the ring but also a few tanks of fuel stooging it about rich before you can let it rip!

Yep me too, i have snapped 2 of the buggers, and at the price they are, is an expensive whoops
