  • Quad and Aurora 9.

    Guys

I've now got an Aurora 9 and Phoenix. After a week of practice I'm ready for my first real crash! I'm really happy with the A9 and would like to keep using it, so whats the best beginners Quad I could use with it?

    thanks

    Martin

you see now theres a can of worms to open

you have choices you can self build cheap cheap or self build decent spec...

What style of quad flying are you after...

I'd like one that I wont get board with, once i'm a better pilot. I have a cheap Banggood one, so happy to go upmarket!

Right then so a Quad and Controller that you grow with and will do everything....

DJI Naza With a GPS unit, Frame you could start out with a naza 450 frame and then get a TBS style clone frame (they work as well as an overpriced TBS frame)

the Naza is probably one of the best out of the box controllers and easy to set up and use, its failsafe mode means with GPS it'll come home and land for you...
learn to fly it in GPS just taking your hands off the sticks it will just sit in the air until you want it to do something
Atti mode and manual modes can be used for aerobatics.

Naza gets free upgrades although 3.1 was not so good!!!

but the Naza is a great invest mean't you can swap it into any type of multi frame so you never need to buy new hardware just frames or like a few people you'll have multiply frames and controllers
