    NHP Quadcopter Alpha Frame

    I've been quietly working with Dave Whitney on a new venture into the world of Quad/Hex copters. We test flew our 1.8 metre quad this morning in 15mph winds, the maiden flight was better than expected but there's still a few things to work out. Here's a just a glimpse of what to expect, as you'd imagine from NHP its all Carbon Fibre.

    The V1 Alpha Centre sections (Now superseded with V1.1 but that's still a Cad Drawing at the moment)

    Production tests begin next week....

      Yep - All in total weight on the 1.8Metre version at take off is 1.506Kg - includes 2200mah 3cell Battery

                Yes, the full carbon frame will be in three sizes and available directly from NHP or Revolution models. Currently we are testing V1.2, the frame seems very good - Camera mount is next on the list.

                  Which electronics are you using? i have an ACM in one of my heli's. arduheliAPM005.jpg
                  GPS, Sonar, Barometer Mag (compass) and a GCS for fly by wire.
                  Going to fit a camera to it. Nice quad frame

                    At the moment its a KK Black Board with modified firmware, It's not bad plenty of power but the yaw control is all over at the moment so we'll be looking into that this week.
