  • FlyCamOne V2 - Servo operated viewing angle

Hi - I recently got myself a FlyCamOneV2 camera to try and get some good in-flight vids. I was going through the contents of the box and found a servo linkage arm. I realised this was to be able to move the lens angle in flight with a servo. So without further a do I grabbed a spare servo and set to work.
Here are a couple of pictures:

Here is a short vid showing it working:

Flight vids to follow - weather permitting
    cheers

Cool, how did you attach the servo horn to the camera lens?

I would have thought glue may not be reliable!

It has little holes to hook the length of rod through Pip. Was thinking about doing something similar tit my FCOv2 myself. Is that hook and loop tape good enough to keep a firm hold of it though mate? Im sure when i tried mine it just didnt seem firm enough. What ya should do now is purchase the lead to plug in the back to automatically operate it now. Then it would be even more kool. http://www.flycamone2.com/index.php?id=20&L=3

made2fade, I think the velco will hold it ok but I am not sure what the video quality will be like. I will try and then go from there.

Here we go then - my 1st flight with the flycamoneV2 fitted and recording.

Unfortunetly it was a bit windy and a tad foggy lol which hindered obtaining a nicer vid.

Anyway take a look and see what you think. I was quite pleased with the results as there was no in flight vib or wobble on the recording.
