As you all know I fly helicopters well I try at least lol, building them is one of my favourite parts about the hobby !
However whilst at work the other day I was asked by one o my work colleagues t have a look at his son new helicopter to which I said yes ! Oooops its a self build Quad , parts are from Hobby King, its a Flip MWC unit, with 4 motors, and a main frame (ie 2 discs) The lad has also supplied me with a Spektrum receiver and a DX8 radio.
I have also been supplied 4 wooden sticks to mount the motors on, plus a 3s 2200 pack .
So where do I go from here, I understand that I need to download some software etc , and then programme the unit is that it ? Are there specific lengths the motors need to be sat at, do they need to be all the same length.
This could take me a while, any help much appreciated as I need to finish this little project. Thanks
