Hi guys,

Does it matter what receiver you use on a drone like the F550?
I am looking at the spektrum range as I have a DX7s. Do I need the Telemetry or can I go with a 6 or 7 channel receiver instead?

If you are using a Naza flight controller in it then you will need a RX with a failsafe so that you can set it to return to home if it looses signal.
So something like an AR8000 + RX.

yes the ar7610 is ideal.
but any reciever you use must have "smart" failsafe as Lee says. So that you can set failsafe at half throttle ,which will enable the return to home function to operate correctly. (all dsmx recievers use this) (dsm2 don't unless the bind port is marked "Bind/Data) )
