Carp are for pussies, catch a 10lb barbel on the Severn and you'll know what I mean
I've been telling Martin to come with me on the Wye for ages and do some proper fishing for Barbel. I know exactly what you mean there Don. On the flip side of that, Barbel are pussies compared to catching Bonefish and Permit on the flats down in the Florida Keys

Too much weed Paulo hence needing something able to hop over it,
As for some of the cheeting comments Nick B I will fill you in a little incase
youve never fished a 23 acre weed bound peat pit
The only way to get baited lines in or out of that syndicate at the moment is via a full size boat with oars.
We row out use a carp scope to place our bait & lines etc we then row back to shore & set the rods up. At the moment there is no other way to catch the 30lb plus monsters that live in there. I'm sure you can now see why I'm looking for something a little easier & less likely to end my life, what with me being the clumsy oaf that I am lol.

Googled rc hovercraft bait boat but no joy mate.
Looks like I may have to design something or give up the idea.

If your determined to fly it in the easest way is with a 700 size heli. They are more then capable of lifting the wieght and secondhand can be picked up reletivly cheap second hand.
You just need a hopper to fit between the skids. The only issue would be dropping the bait, the hooklink would need to be 12 inches long minimum with the lead hold the line under the heli.
