  • My DJI 450 with Naza Lite

With the BBMF Lanc in the backgound, never get bored of this flying around my village

Quad was in GPS hold in quite a stiff breeze, impressed so far with this little bugger.

Just got my NAZA Lite sorted out and its now flying great, now got to save up for a decent camera like the GoPro, so I can get some pictures.
Super pic of the quad and Lancaster.

I started with this about a month ago, then the Visa took a massive hit and now I've gone fpv. TBS discovery frame, fatshark dominator goggles and immersion vtx, a fatshark camera (a pixim seawolf is on it's way to me from china), tbs ezosd and a big grin on my face. I've never panicked as much as when I flew through the goal posts at the local field. Really fun. Two of the guys at the club had a go and were both freaked out by it. How can flying in a straight line be so much fun? I managed to hit 30 mph and wanted more. It's really freaky seeing yourself sat in a chair while you're flying, total out of body experience...!

I'm trying hard not to spend too much at once, after seeing FPV it really is hard not to want it.
Need a good onboard camera first. Get a thrill watching other flyer's faces when I casually switch
off the Tx and let it come home by itself.

It was really funny at the weekend flying it. My club mate was stood next to me shouting 'where the hell are you going' he thought I was over the lake but I hadn't even reached the trees before it. You have so much confidence in FPV compared to flying it 3rd person. There's no way in hell I would have flown it that far without the goggles on, it was literally a dot in the sky. Next time I'm out I'm going for the goal posts again but a damn site faster this time. It's just too much fun. You only live once so get the FPV stuff....!
