Are you using 2.4 GHz wireless to transmit video from the heli to the phone?
Didn't someone here lose a heli recently and the suspect was the video wi-fi transmitting from the Go-Pro?

All that old cobblers assumes the interfering signal isn't ten million times stronger than the wanted signal.
Which it will be if you have a 2.4 GHz TX inside the heli.
If I do a range check in my garden I get 10 metres.
If I switch off my wireless router I get 30 metres.
Just be careful I say, that's all...

No need to worry about fancy mounts, one bit of electrical tape did it for me, just taped around the foot of the mount. It was plenty strong enough for flying with, no great vibrations either despite being straight onto the frame. Gopro hero 2 on my 450. Only thing is my gain was a little high for the flight and having the camera way forward threw my C of G off quite a bit. Quick heli flight over my house - YouTubeMarcus
