  • Mounting go pro on mini Titan.

Want to mount my new go pro on, bit concerned that I might get a paddle strike, or is that unlikely? ThanksImageUploadedByTapatalk1357129068.817229.jpg

underneath, on the landing skids if possible. You may have to take it out of the waterproof case and make a custom mount.

I think i'd look for a way of mounting it off to the side or extent the gear and have it underneath, a strike is very likely looking at that pic

i did move the paddle so it was touching for the pik, i was unsure whether id actually get that situation in flight, but decided to mount it underneath and extend the skids with pipe lagging.
unfortunately the lagging encroached a fair bit on the frame, so wantt o find another way. any one mounted one on a mini titan on here?

              Big accident gon' happen.

Would it mount under the ESC tray?

Hi, I've been working on a hinged design fixed underneath the frame. For take off & landing the camera is looking straight down, once in the air, using the aux2 knob you operate the hinge via a servo to move the camera through 90 deg e.g. From vertical look to horizontal forward look. You will need to mount the hinge to frame on some form of anti-vibration material otherwise the vibration will upset the video capability and give you the wavy sort of imaging. If you use the new go pro 3 black you can view the flight images on your wireless equipped smart phone/iPad.
