    Gopro studio export help

    Hi all

    did my 1st video with the gopro, converted with my old laptop in gopro studio and output in hd 1080 mp4 format. Looks great on the TV

    I now have a new laptop, windows 7 4gb ram intel I3 1.7 ghz processor (higher spec than my old one) and all works great until I export to mp4. Using exactly the same import quality for gopro editing, the resultant mp4 has a much lower bit rate and is all blocky! Export to avi and it looks great but over 3gb video file

    please can anyone help?

    I have a perfect record with helicopter flight...I have never left one up there!

    If you haven't download Gopro's video editor.
    Today's outlook is fine for flying.

        Yes, what i should have said if you download to your new laptop then convert the file which is what i had to do with some of my video's when i went from XP

          Arr thinking about it converting was very slow so i ended up doing it in Photoshop.
          Today's outlook is fine for flying.

            Same video has been downloaded on both laptops, converted to avi using gopro studio but mp4 on new one is really blocky, old one hd quality?

            are you converting from gopro camera mp4 to avi with other other software prior to using go pro studio?

            Dont understand why new laptop exports great to avi but not to mp4 but older laptop works fine?

              If im honest ive got to be going back all of a year ago now & when i run the videos on my then new laptop i remember the video quality was poor, i not sure what i done in the gopro studio but it took hours to convert to watch on my laptop so i done the others through Photoshop.

                I know Gopro studio is free but it is really slow & confusing, Photoshop Premier you get the photo & video editing software its also really cheap for what you get & you can do some amazing thing with Gopro pictures & videos, very user friendly & converts videos to virtually any format.
