  • Which Quad?

    Hi,

I have the GoPro and fancy a quad.

I was looking at a F450 kit but there is also the RTF ones. Phantom, Phantom II and the 350QX too. Is either one better for fun flying and filming. I do not want to go full fpv.

Now is the time to get one while there is 12% - 15% off..

I would go with the dji450 ,have the pleasure of building it and seeing it take off and fly for the first time! There is something special about standing back and thinking "yep I built that"

I do not mind building and maybe it will be better or easier to repair when it needs it too??

It is £316 or £438 with the GPS on a F450 vs. £257 for the 350QX. Without the GPS on the 450 the 350QX wins for the RTF function which could be a winner... And I need a mount for the 450 too..

Dji f450 wins as you can always upgrade the frame keeping the controller and bits in the upgrade.
