As title, think of putting a Neo on my Kylin 250 quad and was wondering if anyone had done this themselves?

I have had a Neo in a 3D quad copter. I did it purely as an experiment before swapping out a silverline. There's no way I'd normally stick a £200 flight controller in a quad that cost about £100 total. I flew about 15 flights on it, then I took it out. It just didn't fly as well as Betaflight does. No amount of tweaking the gains would get rid of oscillations on hard throttle. Lower them, it barely flies. Up them, it gets worse. I'm sure there is a sweet spot in there somewhere but wasn't going to waste time finding it.
On the Kylin, I don't even know where you'd fit a Neo? The obvious place is where the battery goes. It's been a while since I've seen a Kylin. There were about 6 at the club when they came out, and I was blown away by how well they flew out of the box. If you're expecting the Neo to fly better, you could be disappointed. If you have a Neo spare, sure, give it a go, but there's no way I'd buy one just for a quad.Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
