  • MR25 Attitude Mode

When my MR25 is in attitude mode, it has a very pronounced drift to the back and right. When in manual or sport mode it will hold a perfect hover, but flick it back to attitude mode and it does the same. All of the motor arms are at 0 degrees and the cog is correct, have tried both prop sizes. I have recalibrated it several times, but no difference. Running firmware v1.3.1 An android app v1.3.2.....

    Anyone else got similar problems...???

From what I can see in the manul, it says in attitude mode and lateral drift, adjust gain by 5% a time till you get desired level. Just found this manual if any use to you Steve?? http://www.align.com.tw/ManuaLib/Mul...er/RM42501.pdf

You don't use the flightmode switch to change between the modes do you and somehow got trim in one of them if you do

There's no trim set anywhere, all the props are at zero, its been calibrated on a perfectly level floor - when you flick it into attitude it takes a very decisive tilt back/right, it's not a drift.....

Starting to think the IMU/gyro (IMU - Inertial Management Unit...!!!) might be knackered.......

Have tried tweaking the accelerometer adjustment in the app, doesn't make much difference.....it's starting to annoy me....!!!!

I've got the same problem, tried everything apart from upgrading to 1.3.1 but I'm not convinced it will fix it, I think the last upgrade was meant to fix the drift issue but didn't. I'm just used to automatically putting in a few clicks of left and forward when flying in Attitude mode. I also find mine changes from one flight to the next in the amount of drift you get. I think if the upgrades don't work the recommended fix from Align is to replace the IMU which I think is a bit c**p. I don't fly in Att mode too often now hence why I put up with it.

Does yours go back and right as well..?? Mine does quite a hard back and right, it's no good flying in attitude mode as you always have to hold In a correction.....

Can you buy the imu separately, or just as part of the main board...??

Yes back and to the right.

I think it is on the main board, FAQ page on Align website just says to try calibrating and if not successful replace the IMU, look under IMU section. MR25 Racing Quad - Q & A - Align

Mine does the same, has done from out of the box. Starts off fine but within a minute or so it's eventually drifting back and right. power off and on and it's fine for another minute.
