ImmersionRC Vortex

I have a Vortex and have it setup with ImmersionRC CPPM adapter for Spektrum Satellite. I have ran through the TX Wizard and all goes fine. Once I finish the setup process I put the left stick to bottom right and the motors turn for 3 seconds, then it shows flight summary on the screen.

Any ideas?

Hi

Before the flight summery screen comes up are you able to throttle up to full speed? This could just be one of the fails safes that disarm the Vortex if no inputs are seen.

No I can't throttle to take off - it just shuts off then displays flight summary

I take it you have calibrated the radio in the cleanflight software to achieve the correct channel throws? 1000 at low stick, 1500 at mid stick and 2000 at full stick for all channels before running through the Virtex setup wizard?

I got it sorted!

For any new Vortex owners and you are using Spektrum CPPM convertor, do not follow Immersion's instructions. They say to put travel up to 148 - leave it at 100, I had to bring mine down to 90 so I was able to complete the TX wizard. Just reverse the 2 channels and put channel 5 onto a 3 position switch

Still better to use Lemon RX with Satellite than slow CPPM convector and just one Satellite RX
