Is that with the whole range of Spectrum or just the new versions

I don't know Ill find out for you , but talking to Trevor yesterday nobody could get it to work etc , so we need more detail on which radios etc .

Rob, if just using the Spektrum sat Rx have you tried creating a new model in the Tx for the quad and then binding the sat Rx and a full size Rx together. Then when bound up just use the sat Rx plugged into the board, maybe some wire swapping in the plugs may also be required. Had to do this on my Kylin to get it to work. If you are using a full size Rx in the quad then I have no ideas on that.:- Edit just had a look at the manual and Align supply a Spektrum/Jr sat Rx adaptor so that takes care of the wire swapping.

It doesn't seem to support DSMX satellites at the moment, should be OK with a DSM2 though.

No idea why it would make a difference as it is not even controlling the binding from the model, but we also failed to get any life out of one with a DSMX satellite yesterday.

The software has an option for DSMX satellite but it is greyed out at the moment.

Should also work fine with a small Spektrum receiver of course...

That's what we tried yesterday. It just doesn't seem to like DSMX, if someone still has a DSM2 satellite then that should work I believe...

Hopefully not long into new year there be the dual switching version of the MR25 which is the one I've ordered.

If ive got it right dual switch enables 5.8mhz or wifi for android/apple for indoor flying.

Align have their own TX coming, that can relay the 5.8MHz video feed via wifi to say an iPad tablet mounted on the TX, is that what you are waiting for?

There is also a standalone version of the converter if you don't want to use their TX, but it is just for video of course.

When i read what little there was on the android I then spoke to Raj Align Trex & said there'll be another MR25 in the new year that will allow you to fly indoor & out, there was no mention of Align TX needing to be used.

Just to be clear, the ability to relay 5.8GHz video to wifi has nothing to do with indoor flying, it is just a handy way to have the FPV display on a tablet like an iPad rather than plugging in your goggles. I'd also add that it is going to add a little latency to the image as well so I'd wait and see if it is actually fast enough to race with anyway...

I'm not sure what they would be changing to make the MR25 more suited for indoor racing either...

Generally the problems quads have indoors are related to altitude sensing and GPS, neither of which are typically used on a racer?
