Been a really long time since I've posted to my blog lol...

Well I've finally upgraded my radio gear to 2.4Ghz Woohoo!

I've got a DX7 + AR6100. Initial binding was a bit frustrating as the bloody RX would not enter bind mode. I got it to work after I had realised that the esc was plugged in the wrong way lol

Got it binded, programmed the tx with my settings, setup the head, servos, gyro, throttle & pitch settings etc..

Good to go ...

Then double and triple checked everything before flight to make sure...

Then just had a quick maiden flight in the garden to test everything and all is good

Phew! lol This is a nice set of gear, really good, the DX7 is quite easy to program/setup. And I loosened the throttle stick to make it more smoother, really nice feel to it.

All in all glad I've made the step up to 2.4Ghz

Next steps I'm thinking to mod the dx7 display with a backlight..where do i start?? lol
