In the meantime while we all decide what to do about testing 2.4GHz safety and reliability I went and got one of these to have a nosey around to see what's inhabiting my local 2.4GHz airspace.

Both versions will run concurrently if you install them to different folders.
Displays your local Wi-Fi environment as well if you set it to.

It could help spot unwanted signal interference before it causes damage.
Just maybe it could help with setting an even playing field, so to speak, for the range testing issue.
There are more expensive versions that are directional which could help track down the location of intrusive interference.
