Does anyone know if this will be OK for a backup battery for my Hitec Eclipse 7 Transmitter?

I have cocked up large this weekend. The weather has finally settled, so I went outside to have a quicky with my Trex (
), and all went will, until 6 minutes into the usual 7 minute flight - Tx started shouting LOW BATTERY at me! Agghh!!
And it takes 17 hours to charge!!
Agghhh!!
No more flying, even though it's good weather!!
