Have you removed the red wire from the lead that goes into the rec throttle channel

I haven't, that will disabled the BEC, but I thought YEP's didn't come with them.

The 120 doesn't have a built in bec , was just trying to thing of anything

It's opto and you need sep bec, so all wires need to be in.

If I'm running Vbar with an AR7000, do I need to do anything differently? My Vbar doesn't have any output/input labelled 'ESC'.

I think I'm just repeating what I have already tried now, I thinking of trying to plug it into the Vbar instead (collective port - even though it doesn't mention ESC).

God I hate helicopters...

Sorry dude , v bar I ain't worked on , you could just try it direct thru your rec , then you'll know if you are programming it correctly , then hopefully a v- bar person will be able to assist

I only use Sats, I think esc wire into throttle on ar7000

FIXED IT! .

I was using the extension lead to power the programming card, tried an external power source earlier from a NiMh battery and plugged the cable back into the rx that I was using the power programming card and it works fine now.

Sorry for continuing this thread but im getting the same problem but i still cannot solve it. Ive got everything powered off. Short lead from yep esc to left side of programme card, then power up the esc(solid red light) then connect 4.8v external batt to right side of the programme card then the lights shoot up and down the card but no program tones? Ive got a linear curve. high/low throttle set in esc n vbar throttle 100- 0 100+
