Prolly a dumb esc question

I have a turnigy dlux 120A hv esc that I got from here ages ago with the idea of converting my 600esp to 12s. Tbh I can't be arsed so it sat in the drawer since but I want to put the jive 100 lv into my new heli so want to know if this will work in my esp on 6s ?????

I would think it would be fine so long as you don't have peak amp draws higher than it can handle and if it can deliver 120 amps continuous it should be able to cope with short peaks somewhere above that.

You can get away with 6s on the jive 80+ but no idea about that one
