Hi All.
So after building a couple of models, trex 500 combo, then a Goblin with 750mx and Scorpion opto ESC where I just selected the "recommended" timing I now have to ask. What does it all mean?
I have now just finished building a Copterx 250 with a hobbywing skywalker 20a esc and the copterx motor and setup with the recommend timing of 3.75 deg. But it says to get higher speed higher timing value can be chosen.
So what does the timing mean and what happens if you go to high? For the little guys I find them under powered so want to get the most out of it. What happens if I just use the mid at 15 deg or high timing at 26.25 deg. Seems to be a massive difference. Will the motor just run faster? Have more power? Blow the whole thing up?
Would be nice to know so when I get to the point of wanting more power out of the 500 or 700 I know what is safe and what is happening if I just crank the timing up.
Cheers
