What is the roll of the Esc and Bec

Hi all.
I was looking for some information or a guide explaining the roll of the Esc and Bec on our heli's especialy with reguards to my Thundertiger Raptor 30

The ESC feeds the motor with the correct pulse at the correct timing to run the motor basically from my understanding.

The BEC is a short for battery elimination circuit. This drop the lipo voltage down to a voltage the rest of the electronics need. For example if you are using a 22v lipo let's say for example you would not want all 22v going to the servos, gyros, fbl, and receiver etc etc..

This is my understanding but I'm sure some of the more experienced guys will chime in and give a more accurate description.

Theres not much to it other than whats already been said.. the ESC drives the motor and the BEC is a voltage supply regulator for all your RX/Servos/Gyros etc.

A raptor 30 is a nitro machine, are you confusing stuff with a voltage regulator you may have fitted out did you mean an electric raptor like the E550?

In regards to your Raptor 30, nothing LOL
Esc / Electronic Speed Controller for Electronic motors - Rapor 30 is a Nitro model
BEC / Battery Eliminator Circuit is part of the ESC and provides power to the receiver replacing a separate battery pack that you would have on a nitro set up
