Hi chaps , thinking of getting a talon for my goblin 500 just wondered how this things are performing out there ?

Thinking of going the same way only heard of one with problem so far (loose motor connector). I'll probably use the Scorpion Guard too just in case.Yan

Is the Talon being shipped now with the 550 combo kit? I have heard very good things about the strength of the BEC.Henseleit TDR

Only heard of one issue on HF where the motor connector came off, but I am sure that is just a one off. Looks like a great bit of kit.Jr forza 700 - one mean machine!lol

I'm told a certain Uk heli store with Lads that are Fast will have some in this coming week. However with this being a new popular ESC for a super cool little heli they may not be in stock for very long.Comment

Hey.
My Talons working great.
Initially if I'm honest I was wary of the built in BEC, but with a 9 amps continous rating (20 amps peak) it's basically a BEC PRO built onto the ESC.
As already mentioned at the price it is it's good value for money.
My only gripe is that the BEC output is limited to either 6 or 8 volts, which is great for either LV or HV servos, but with the BEC PRO I set the output a little higher to 6.9 volts for the DS610's on my V1 550. I felt an improvement in model feel with the slightly elevated voltage.
