First thing i would like to thank you all personaly for donating money towards Claire wreath on the day of the funeral, ive kep the cards which came with flowers and it they will stay with me until the day i join Claire heaven.

Im now in a position to explain where the rest of your money will be going and those others who donated via the funeral director, after a discussion with the school where the boys attend and Rosie next year, it has been agreed that a bench will be placed in the garden area of the school with a plaque dedicating the bench to Claire and a another parent who died 3 weeks before Claire died, as Claire was chair person of the Friends of Langham School for 18 months and spent an awful lot of time and effort raising funds towards the school, the school felt like they should do something and this is what we have agreed.
The school will commissiong this bench before the end of term and rest of the money donated will be combined with the other parent who died to buy a piece of adventure trail (Wooden climb frame) for all the children to use and will be a permanet fixture within the playing field dedicated to both parents.

Again i would like to thank you all for donating.

I'm sure I speak for all here, at least those lucky enough to have known Claire, we're glad that she will be remembered always, she made an impact on everybody who spoke to her, whether on these forums as I did, or in real life from what I've heard from people who met her that way. That my friend is all the thanks we really would want. And our thoughts are with you and your family, always.
