Im in absolute shock, only met her once at the nuneaton compass fly-in but she was eager to introduce me to people, a genuinely lovely person, and as for her posts, they changed this forum for the better. All the best for you and your family Kevin.

I had only just arrived at the compass fly-in and Claire came over and introduced herself and welcomed me. As I left she wished me a safe journey, we had a joke about my bike playing up. She later posted on here to ask if I got home ok.

I always enjoyed reading her posts and her sense of humour shone through.
She will be missed.

It simply dosnt feel real ,,, claire was like a secound mum to me, she told me when it was my bed time and always made me get on with my revision for my exams. she had even agree'd to be my referee for a job i wanted, definaltly had a huge heart and was incredibly caring.

we often had long convasations and played msn games when we were both bored! this forum just wont be the same without her, and above all her awesome sense of humour will be missed the most.

she was a pleasure to talk to and will be missed dearly. My thoughts are with you and th kids kev

Only ventured into the chat room for the first time a couple of nights ago and she welcomed me and made me laugh within minutes, I'll be thinking of all her family and friends because even after only a few minutes contact it wasn't hard to see what a fantastic person she was. Mrs Cali30

What terribly sad heartbreaking news Kevin.
I'm stunned & lost for words.
I never had the pleasure of chatting with or meeting Claire but from reading her contributions to the forum it's easy to imagine just how warm, passionate & funny she would have been in person.
