  • Second Heli Bought

Well I decided to buy a second heli the idea being that the Raptor 30 V2 with the TT39 engine will help me to learn the tricks I want to without the sign flying which is attached to my Fury if all goes Pete Tong.

So the spec of this little addition will be.
    JR PCM RX
    2000mah Nicad RX Battery
    GY401 & S9253
    4 x JR591's
    Stock Muffler for now
    SAB Carbon Main Blades
    Header Tank
    Remote Glow

I'll post some pics when it arrives.
    Cheers

    Hi Stuart,

Its always a good idea to have a sacrificial lamb in the fleet to learn new tricks on.

My philosophy was to have a sacrifical heli, and thought oh well if I crash that, Im going to need a backup for it, so Ive ended up with a sacrificial backup too

I hope all goes well with the assembly, your list of kit is good and shoulddo just fine.

You will also like those SAB blades, I got a set for the first time a couple of months ago, before which Ive had both MS and Razors, I much prefer the SAB's as the auto performace is much better than any 600 blade I have flown before.

    Cheers,

    Pete.

I'd rather pay 150.00 to fix the R30 than 300.00 to fix the Fury thats for sure. . Believe me it will need fixing .

My new glow extension (+ missing engine bolts and washers) arrived this morning so the V2 can be running once again.

Skyline miss addressed the envelope. They put 137 instead of 173. 8O My nice neighbours pushed it through my door though.

MP2 re-attached and had another 3 tanks through it. It's still a little rich but the cold weather means its not too far out. The top bolt keeps working loose due to stripping the thread on the pipe. I just need to find the right tightness to keep it in place. :?

Has that V2 not arrived yet then? Crikey!

                              Hi
thing is Once a Raptor appears on ebay even with all the bling on
them you will never get that money back. Even 2nd hand bling
                              doesnt really mean a lot.

You will Never make the money back it cost you. guy at our club
has more raptor bling than anything and would cost around 1000 pounds
to kit a Raptor out like that but in the end if he got 400-500 pounds
for it he'd be lucky. He has a 50 and 60 Raptors as well, although
                              not seen the 60 yet.....

Only 4 ugrades I will do to my Raptor once I have my new Tranny
and they are Header Tank, Tail push rod kit, 1-2 digi servos and
                              maybe some carbon blades.
