You're quite right to bring up that point nick, when my Velocity isn't falling to pieces it's one of the best helis I've ever flown.Originally posted by BladeStriker View Postoh dear, dont let the veiw of one man put you off,guy has forgot to mention that his velo flies better than his 600.

Once dialled in, it is THE best flying 50 out there imo.
..but it will take a bit of time to iron out the little niggles, unlike the 600 which will fly pretty well straight out the box.
The quality of the latest kits does sound like a bit of an issue, as snapping swash balls off with your fingers certainly wasn't do-able on the older kits (mine would be around 12-18months old I guess by now).
If your keeping a flybar, then stick with the Velo 50 it really is worth the extra time you put into it. If going fylbarless however, go with the 600.

I love my velocity 50, it's the best 50 size I have owned or flown
Yes there are one or two things that could be better like more room under the canopy!! And there are faults but once the latest greatest new fadds have been out a month or two you here about there faults too, as for parts I have not had to much of a problem, well certainly not as many probs as people have had trying to get a main shaft for the "awesomeness"

Nothing wrong with the velo 50, just build it properly and you will not have any probs, i know because i have one, both my velo's are first batch, and i know more people having probs with 600s, again nothing wrong with a 600, anyone can throw a heli together, but any heli built properly will be good.Velocity 90 FBL Beast x

Hi
I have a fusion 50. Bought it from a mate who had given up with it.
It has issues, but I spent a bit of time sorting the tail out and now love it.
I must say though it aint no align 600.
I sold my trex600 fbl 12s and have been sorry ever since. And I promise you that I am no align fan boy, quite the opposite in fact.
So in short, if you want a reliable easy to repair and build heli - get the trex600
if you want something different that seems to fly a bit better but is fussy on build and parts are sometimes difficult, then get the fusion.
Hope this helps :-)

The trouble is that I did build mine properly, I might not be a 3D master but I'm damn good at the mechanics & engineering side.Originally posted by derrick View PostNothing wrong with the velo 50, just build it properly and you will not have any probs, i know because i have one, both my velo's are first batch, and i know more people having probs with 600s, again nothing wrong with a 600, anyone can throw a heli together, but any heli built properly will be good.
And even I was rubbish how come all my other helis don't fall to pieces?
And how can my poor building skills affect the supply of parts?
FIVE MONTHS WAIT FOR A BELL CRANK IS F**KING DISGRACFUL, and I will shout about how c**p your helis & customer services are from the rooftops til my last breath or you go broke Mr Outrage!!Guy

I detect the slightest hint that you may not totally like them?Originally posted by Gate88 View PostThe trouble is that I did build mine properly, I might not be a 3D master but I'm damn good at the mechanics & engineering side.

Love how it flies and I'm quite fond of the towel but every other single thing about this model is s**t!!!Originally posted by Gareth-71 View PostI detect the slightest hint that you may not totally like them?

In two years with my Trex 600 I've had hundreds of flights and about 6 in flight mechanical failures. In contrast I've had 11 flights in about 6 months (thats eleven!) and 5 have ended up in the dirt because bits have broken off!Guy
