A close call

Well I was cleaning my much flown fury 55 tonight when I gave the tail a wiggle, hmm I thought that's a bit stiff. I proceeded to clean it down and when wiping the tail blades the tail pitch slider failed. The tail pitch ball fell out and the thread is stripped.

It's the first part that has failed due to use in 2.5 years of abuse and it was the original slider to boot. So for the first time in 2.5 years I'm going flying without my 55

Well spotted im going to check all mine now before i load up for the field.

Blimey clad i did just checking over 600n & the rear servo link rod socket was well worn & just flick of with finger, replace it & still the same turns out its the ball that's worn. all sorted now
