      Its the ultimate setup tool

Its all 90 degrees to each other, so a quick build up and you have a tool that gets the vbar sensor perpendicular to the mainshaft, gyro plate edge and frames.

      Thanks

        Morning Everyone,

This morning i tackled the throttle linkage, turns out it was the ball link rubbing on the bulge for the exhaust in the canopy

So i set about adjusting the links and ended up with this arrangement, gave me the most clearance between the exhaust, canopy and fan shroud whilst still retaining full travel of the servo/carb arm.

I also upped the Vbars gain to 80 from 70, and reduced the Tail gyro gain a bit.

That'll do for a few weeks until the Governor feature is released, i'll stick with my Trex now and hopefully do some more learning rather than learning a new machine.

        Thanks

        Matt

Well done on the maiden Matt. I am hoping to get the the Srimok airborne tomorrow in Scotland for it's first flight sans flybar. Laptop and cable packed for fiddling with gains etc.

Cool, let us know how you get on, best of luck! I'm finding the feel of FBL very wierd to say the least, definately something to get used too.
            It is good though.

Matt had his JR out today and was flying it very nicely, going out again tomorrow hopefully for more practise.

Flew my Fury again today, only the second time it has been out.

Made use of the Vbars bank switching setting to experiment with gain settings.

I'm now on 90 for the cyclic, and 90 for the tail, without any sign of nodding or wagging.

The banks are now setup Norm (Gains 90), Stunt 1 (Gains 100) and Stunt 2 (Gains 110) to try and induce some nod/wag to find the ideal gain settings.

I find it does stall turns really nicely, and with the FBL Radix blades, it has a real deep low thud sound which is nice.

Settled with 100 gain on the cyclics and 90 gain on the tail.

And 70/60 in hold for autos, flys very nicely for my level of flying at the moment.

Just need a governor now, chop chop Vbar!

This is my throttle setupon my Fury 55.
At throttle full open, the throttle horn almost hits the fan shroud.

Does the bottom arm or your servo horn not rub on your canopy? Mine did thats why i ended up with it shared down to just a single arm.

First durability test (crash) of the Fury yesterday, dumb thumbed it, turned it upside down which still in normal, opps.
Blades gone, tiny bend in the feathering shaft, and a ball link rid vanished. But thats it

                      no.
But i use the OS55 engine, i can see you uses the ys56, maybe the carb are differents lenght.
Anyone in here using the ys56 in fury with the same problem?
