Kinda odd really when someone is giving advise on a product that they have no experience on.. but hey this must be the third manufacture change for callum in the last 12 months or so... You go figure!

Too true Ade .. TBH I asked the question as he was commenting on the 55 when I knew he had the 600 but thought if hey , he is giving advice on the 55 then he would have flown one ... Funny that he is telling people how good is it when in fact he has not flown one ??? .... I alwayss thought that you got sponsored because you believed in the product/company you where using ?? but then again I might be wrong there as well

Whoops, I must have missed this thread over the past few days - Since it's been Christmas I have been off and on.

But since Its turned into a "Callum Bashing Thread".....

Ade.. It seems you having some personal issues with me. You can of course PM me and we can speak about this. I'm not going to get envolved in these silly discussions. It's not furthering the discussion let alone the hobby.

I have however answered the query of MikeW personally.

If you think that i am recieving product for free ... either your purposefully attempting to distort the truth or are blistfully unaware, Since I pay for everything.

As I say, If you have personal issues with me. Then you know you can contact me. Until then. Good Day.

            Regards
            Callum

Looks good, you can't really ever call buying an MA kit a bad choice, the only problem with them in the past has been the price tag, but you get what you pay for, they've always had a good reputation.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

                    Todays installment

I decided to manufactuer an exhaust spacer

Locate suitable metal, cut, drill and file to size

                    Works great

Hoping to maiden it later on today

                      Maiden Flight done

A few issues, running no governor and i haven't adjusted my curves properly at the moment so the headspeed is all over the place.
The throttle arm/linkage/something contacts the canopy
Bit too much gain on the tail
Orientation a bit of a problem in todays overcast conditions.

Otherwise, an excellent first flight of the Fury, and first flight of FBL for me.

Looks like the throttle servo is upside down, that might cause the rubbing.

The servo is the correct way round but the linkage on the carb arm isnt.

Na, the ball on the servo arm needs to be at the top the same as the carb, Page 33 http://www.heliproz.com/images/Fury5...55manuallo.pdf

Also try timming the spare arms off

Quite amusing thread this and I feel the Sponsored Pilot does protest too much

As an aside from the main theme of the thread the Heli does look wicked, I'd like to see one in the flesh soon
