Does anyone own an x-cell

I have looked at the gallery and there are hardly any x-cell pictures, I would like to see what other x-cells are owned for tips on set up and spec etc.

i have built and flown a fury extreme.

spares prices are just rediculous. Didnt really like the way it flew. great for in close flippy floppy tic toc stuff but get some speed up and it didnt track straight.

Why do you guys mostly fly these, is it because of parts costs? Seems to be the main reason, but.... I looked at helis for years before buying, a good friend has a Raptor 30, and dont take offence at this but they look too toylike to me, the canopies are terrible and look plasticky and the stickers..., how come hardly anyone seems to bother with a decent paint job or changing it for a different canopy and adjusting to fit? I am not biased to x-cell, I think the Aurora's look pretty cool and would consider one and the Synergy looks awesome, just what I would expect a new design to look like.

Is it just me that thinks this? Please no grumpy replies, just curious, not trying to upset anyone that owns one.

Used to have a Scuttle Plus and a Freya as well.

Me neither, although I started out on a Raptor 30, which was upgraded to a 50 after I got a little better at flying.
Then I moved on to a Sceadu Evo 50, which I still have now.
I also fly the Trex 450 and have flown a Predator 90 a few times.

I'm getting the Aurora next...

Most people own or have owned a Raptor of some size because they are simply so good at what we ask of them,not the best but they fly well,are cheap and readily available spares

Nothing worse than having a heli grounded because of a part not available like the ,,cough cough Knight...
