Got my furion last week.
Airframe is now built the 3 cyclic servos are installed as are the 2 spectrum satalites.
3x futaba S3156MG
1x futaba S9257 on the tail.
This is going to be a flybarless setup on 6s.
Mini vbar should be with me tuesday as will the Jazz 40-6-18 ESC.
The motor is being custom built by NEU,,NEU 1107/3Y 2050 Kv heli version (4 week wait
).
The pacs i am look at are Flightpower EON-X,, 2x 3s 1600mah.
I have Radix main and tail blades, running 325mm but i may well fit the longer boom to run 350mm to make use of the extra power.
The Rotor head.
Mikado are going to be produceing a 450 class rotor head but it is not released on sale yet.
I did not want to buy a flybarless rotor head (gaui) knowing the mikado one will be on sale soon, so i modified the standard rotor head useing just the parts that comes in the furion kit.
Really simple to mod, i cut the mixing arms in half, where the mixers bolt to the block, the threded bolt hole is drilled right through to where the guide pins slide through the block, when installing the arms on the block i used bolts 1mm than the recomended size, this now locks the block in place on the mast for me.
