Hi, I have a weird problem if anyone can explain?
Serbart mythos 50e, was using a spektrum radio and rx, now have removed this and installed a silverline fbl, vcontrol and vplane sw.
the 2x savox sh0256 for the elevators are connected via extension leads through the fuselage to the vbar and connected to ch1 and ch4 as per the wizzard.
power up the system and only one elevator works (ch4)..
swap ch4 and ch1 leads on the vbar, problem moves to ch1 indicating servo or extension.
however, with the system still powered all i have to do to get it working in to unplug the servo and plug it back in, 100% of the time works, not practical though and not good for confidence.
With no extension and the savox plugged direct to the vbar it powers up and works no problem with out the workaround.
this is 100% repeatable...have put a voltmeter on the power ping on the servo and 5.2 volts is present regardless of fault condition or not.
Also tried the same servo on the rudd channel, same.
tried extending the servo lead without ext plugs (hard wired soldered) same.
in summary, if the lead is standard length it works, extended and it fails at boot up...the other elevator savox works 95% of the time but i have seen it fail on boot up too, again unplug and reconnect while powered will see it burst into life.
Tried some full size futaba and jr servos with the extensions and all work fine.. what could be going wrong with these savox mini servos when used with extension leads and only on vbar (was fine on the spektrum setup)?
