Yes, there is no change other than the canopies.
I assume they've decided to continue the 550 SX as they are making the parts anyway (for spares), so might as well still sell the kit. Especially if they've still been getting orders for it while the new one has been out. They've just changed the canopy for economic reasons. It has to be more cost effective to only make a single shape for the canopy.
Interesting that the 550SE has the 600 shape canopy now, so looks more in proportion as a 600 size helicopter.
I'm going to stick my neck out here though and say the Logo 600 SX V2 will not continue to be sold. Simply because the new Logo 600 is a more substantial upgrade over the old one.
We might see a new Logo 690 at Rotor Live, if sales have have been good enough since the Logo 700 was released.Last edited by bigpops; 15-01-2018, 11:42 AM.Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

ive had 3 x 550 SX and now have the new 550 with metal grips. I can honestly say I have not noticed any difference. I honestly thought the metal would sharpen up the cyclic but I'm using torq servos and 16t pinion on this one and thought it would be night and day to the plastic SX but it isn'tOriginally posted by ChrisB View PostI much prefer the metal grips on the new 600 personally.

Is it good or bad that you have noticed no difference? Been thinking about getting a 550 for a beater and tempted to go for the mikado.Originally posted by milly0812 View Postive had 3 x 550 SX and now have the new 550 with metal grips. Imho it's the best 550 size machine bar none. I've had one in my fleet since they came out and I doubt I'll sell it as it's such a convenient size. Flies amazing on single 6s pack. Low head speed for long flights or crank it up and it's very agile.
As said they do not crash that well.
Using plastic bolts on skids usually saves the frames in lighter crashessigpic

I made a huge mistake selling my 550sx instead of my balistic. I think I would have been better selling that and all the spares and keeping the 550sx as it flies so good and one pack etc. I still might sell up the ballistic and get another one, I like single pack helis and the logo was the best I had for that. Plus I still have a cupboard full of edge 553 blades
