If you have owned a Vision 90 competition or the 50 with a flybared head what has been your experience with this head as it is clearly so different to other designs does it with many more component parts loose accuracy as wear takes place to phasing in particular

The floating flybar aspect of it mainly reduces the amount of moving parts a bit. I had a Vision Ultimate
(well still have but currently not flying it) and the problem with that heli is the swashplate as far as
interaction and phasing errors but this would be corrected with the optional FAI swash.
I wouldn't say the head wears any worse than other designs and in general it flies quite well.
I put a cyclock on mine to correct some of the interaction issues and that helped a bit, not
as much as I hoped it would. Then finally I converted the stock head to FBL and put a
BeastX on it which cured all the swash problems.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

there actually less parts to a ely q head, no flybar cage, no washout base etc and the only bit that could wear is the plasic guides for the flybar, even then that had work coz there are collors the rotate around it
phasing on the 50, maybe a tad, but easyly lost with afew mixes, the 90 doesnt really have any phasing issue, i flew mine flybarred for around 13/14 gallons, never had any trouble with it

Tempted by the 90, but after seeing a couple of almost new airframes going for under 150 quid, I can't quite bring myself to pay 400 quid for a new one.Cheers,
