  • Blade 400 Charger Lead (The One with Croc Clips)

    Hi Guys,
Anyone know where I could get hold of a charge lead (the one that connects the charger to 12V DC) or what the name of the plug in connector is so that I can hunt one down and make one?

    Al

Im taking a guess that its a JST connector as i havent seen the packs for B400. If its a small plastic red plug with 2 small pins then its a JST.

Oh right a jack style plug... i think you'll find what your looking for here but you will need to know the polarity mate (should be a little pic on the side of the charger thats tells you where the +/- are). Its the same as a Futaba TX charging jack i think:-

            Hi Al

Those plugs are available from any Maplins if you want to make one up.

I have an Esky lead which looks identical (+ve inner) surplus to requirements. pm me if you want it

Thanks for the offer Phil, the OD of the plug is 5.5mm. ID is either 2.5 or 2.8. Maplin appear to be out of stock according to their website so I have sent you a PM.

                Hiya

Another cheap place for electronic stuff is

                cricklewood electronics (london)

They are cheaper than maplins, I have used them a few times.

I bought the mains adapter from a Twister Storm 440, quite reasonable at 14.99 from Model Shop Leeds. Twister part no is: 6600332
